Are the armed militias out after people of color? It’s a funny thing what perspective does. I’m afreaid of rioters. But that really is a serious question. Do you know what the agenda is? I can see your concern. I would be trying to find out what the agendas are and working from there. Do you know what towns they have shown up in so the areas could be avoided? Beyond that, I can tell you (and I know this sounds crazy) but a smile goes a long way in a tense situation. It’s what I do when things are tense and it does help to diffuse things. I’m sorry you are in an uncomfortable situation or feeling you could be. Things would be bad enough without anything concerning ethnicity being added on too.

I see it and I find it to be distressing. When I talk to people from both sides of the aisle, everybody comments on it and expresses fear for our nation. Divided we fall.
Great question. I have 3 big dogs and am definitely not prepared to go anywhere on foot with them. Could y’all carry them in a pouch in front and have your backpacks in the back?
Thanks, Matt. I appreciate your response. As to your question to rural people, I was thinking about that too. I can’t imagine shooting anyone walking through but it would be a bit scary to be the one on foot. My feeling is people would assess your situation carrying a backpack and not walking through the middle of their yard and decide you are okay. I fervently hope my little spot is a safe area because it could easily be a good long-term sustainable place. I have a lab and 2 half lab half Doberman mixes and life would truly Be much more enjoyable in a long-term situation if I could remain. I shall prepare though!! Thanks again.
