Very informative article. Thank you! If I set up tracking so my wife can follow my position while I’m out hiking, what does it look like on her end? Does she just get text messages with links that will direct her to an online map with my location? Or does this require her to have the app? The other reason I ask is because if I fall off a cliff and am unresponsive, I won’t be hitting the SOS button. She’d have my location, but would she be able to share it with rescue crews if she can only view my location on the app?
