      Thanks for sharing this and I’m so sorry that this is happening to you and your family!

      Normally I wouldn’t share information like the below article with someone in your situation because it wouldn’t be received well but in The Prepared community (of which I’m proud to be a part) we hold that information is part of preparedness, even if it’s unpleasant.

      NOAA’s interactive smoke forecast map is another useful tool for this kind of information.

      In the upper left corner, click on Near Surface Smoke.  In the bottom left corner, click on the time stamp to change it to local (not UTC), and animate forward to your time of interest.

      This is NOAA’s state of the art model data, called High Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR).  It’s simulated every hour over the continental united states, at a high spatial resolution, hence the name high resolution, rapid refresh.
