I resisted getting a pair because they just looked heavy and clunky, until a friend bought me a pair of dollar store knock offs. Utility aside, they are the lightest, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned.

 

I felt the same way only a year ago but I ended up getting a pair almost as a gag. Sold for life!

 

All our Scouts and adult leaders carry Crocs attached via carabiners to our packs for Philmont and other advanced hiking.  They are perfect for that activity.
