Cheerful outlook, isn’t it? Seriously though, good article. We don’t know what’s going to happen and models are all we have to predict with. The 2 things I’ve felt from the beginning have been: surreal and uncertain — that’s not changing. While my family and I are comfortable: we have space, resources, finances, and things to do, one of us is working the other is getting unemployment — we’re fine. But I can’t imagine what it would be like to live in a large urban area, in a small apartment, and be unemployed and be told to stay home. I also understand the small town mentality of “nothing is happening here, why are we doing this?” People are becoming less and less tolerant of the restrictions and are “cheating” more and more.

I heard an baseball analogy the other day “we’re in the top of the 2nd inning” in regard to COVID-19. This is just beginning, no one knows what’s going to happen, and anything could still happen.
