Ugh… I bet stuff like that does happen,more than we’d like to know — especially with China manufacturing (at least according to my husband’s very frustrating production experiences there). Thanks for the speedy reply and all your great work. Invaluable, and much appreciated.

John, thanks for this incredible article. One question, are you not concerned with claims that some of these producers make (like HydroBlu) that are not substantiated by test results (other than some Chinese no-name lab) or certification? Seems like these recommended products look awesome, but since their use could be in a life-threatening situation, it’s a lot to rely on ‘their word’ imho.
