With rattlesnakes, not all strikes include venom. An adult snake can control the amount of venom injected. Baby rattlers are more dangerous because they haven’t learned how to control it yet. Don’t try to remove venom that may not even be there. Also, most storage of antivenom is stored at the vets and not at the hospital.
