Will we be able to increase the text size? and will we have to sign up again?

You won’t have to sign up again / do anything. (There’s a small chance people who registered by using their third-party Amazon account may have to reset their password due to an Amazon security quirk. TBD.)
We don’t have built-in support for changing the text size — that’s a level of complexity we don’t have resources for at the moment. But would be great to get there someday, including a dark/night mode.
If you ask because the text seems hard to read… I’m having the same feelings, and we’re experimenting with options.

Most browsers have a straightforward feature to increase the text size.

I sometimes increase the zoom on websites by either clicking the dots in the top right and then click zoom or by holding CTRL and scrolling with the mouse wheel.

Looking forward to the new site. There’s a ton of work that goes into such a project.

I love the new design! Great color scheme and a cleaner looking interface. I had no complaints about the current site, but seeing what it can be makes me see that some changes will be welcome.

I had no major complaints with the site, but these improvements make sense. Most of all, I’m glad the central premise of the site—sensible preparedness advice that’s not paywalled or dominated by partisan politics—doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. That’s why I come here, after all!

This looks great! I can’t wait to see it live. And, phew! That’s a lot of brain damage figuring it all out! But I bet it will be worth it!

It was already a great site, but thanks for putting so much work into making it better.

I’m wondering what is going on with this. It’s now mid-April and we haven’t had any updates. It kind of feels like this website has died, which is really sad. This was probably my favorite website, on the entire internet. There hasn’t been any notable new content in almost a year and a half. I hope that’s not the case. I’m optimistic this is just a delay and TP will get back to putting out great quality content in the near future. But an update would be appreciated!
