Thank you for sharing this story, it was very powerful to me.
I liked the one picture in there of a strong chain securing their generator, that is a smart idea as I’m sure many get stolen during times of a crisis.

I want to add a picture if no one minds that came out of the Flooding in Houston Texas about 2016, which both touched my very soul and epitomised just how vulnerable society is. I hope you dont find this image too upsetting.

Thank you for sharing that article. It’s a heart-wrenching glimpse of what life without power or running water is truly like and a heart-warming story of a small community working together to survive. This is a great example of why having community and not attempting to go it alone is so important.
