Step 1:
Here is the mid section cut. You want this onthe back, about kidney/mid way point, cut down to the back with a slice of the knife.
Step 2:
pull apart the hide as shown
Step 3:
Pull up towards the head, think pulling a sweater off.
Step 4:
keep pulling
Step 5:
pull the elbows in towards the body and push them outta the hide, then pull the hide up around the ears/neck
Step 6:
At this point you can do a few things
1) cut head off
2) cut head, and fore limbs off
3) cape it out
we caped it for photo purpose's
so 3 pics of that process
Step 7:
Ok now you have atree rat with now hide,kinda funny lookin huh.
Ok, you want to cut under the skin from the pelvis/anus up to the neck, so you can gut the treerat
OK, now move up.
Step 9:
you want to spread the rub cage so you can scoop,or pull the entrails out.
Step 10:
remove entrails and cut off extra fat, entrails,, ect and wash out the carcass.
